You can tell this man put a lot of effort into this video. Very informative, Subscribed. I never knew chairs where this complicated. I just want to sit on it and it be comfortable with great lower back support.

This video is great. As someone who only started considering an Aeron, with previous purchases only scratching low-mid range options, this is very helpful.

I'm rocking a 1988 Eames Management Chair at home that works great for me. I just helped my mom get the B sized Aeron for her while she works from home. I have been using them at work! Wonderfully designed and long lasting!

Bottom line: A good office chair costs about $100 per year.

I bought a chair based off your videos and on your website. Great job. This is a hard product to figure out what to buy.
Went with the OM Truly.

please review more mid-range chairs. i'm looking for a very comfortable chair for long hours of sitting, but i don't care about the prestige and aesthetics of the high end chairs.

I bought aeron just to try and return it, it was way too expensive for a chair. Couldn't return it because it was way too comfortable. I decided to keep it

After going back and forth among $500 Herman Miller refurb, $450 gaming chair, $2-300 used Herman Miller, $200 Staples mesh chair for over a week, I think I’m going with $100 mesh chair at Costco

You can get really good deals on used and refurbished chairs. Office furniture depreciates like crazy. You can easily get a good used Aeron for less than $500 and even cheaper if you look hard. I got a Steelcase Leap chair prelactically new for $300 with the aluminum base and hardwood casters.

Wait a second.. I'm pretty sure their "cheap" chair is the same one I've been using since late 2015 for my Gaming Desk setup, and I do sit in it for multiples of hours within a day. My elbows destroyed the arm rests over the years and the seat is probably a bit flat but I still use it. I believe I got it on sale but I didn't consider it to be 'cheap' at the time either. Didn't realize you'd have to pay so much just to get into the decent tier for a chair.

For many ppl, $99 or $200 is NOT cheap. Would you do a review of chairs from $20 to $300? (Aka IKEA chairs)? Thank you.

One of the hidden costs of cheap chairs is that they end up in landfills so quickly.
If there was a way to force manufacturers to incur some of this landfill cost,
there wouldn't be so many poorly built chairs.

actually when I received my Aeron from Herman Miller 2 of the wheels were off and needed attaching.

I have that chair from Office Depot. In fact I am sitting in it right now. For all the talk of them not lasting, this one has been great for 8 years. I have sat in it everyday for 5+ hours. I bought another one last year during work from home. I wish the angle of the back would come up a little, nothing short of 90 degrees should be acceptable and there isn't really much lumbar support but for $100, it is the best deal out there.

Visiting from Europe - your channel is amazing! Great tips. Not all of the models mentioned in your videos are available to us over here, I'm now leaning towards the Humanscale Freedom - I can get a good deal on it. And since I spend 10-12 hours a day at my desk, I cannot afford to make any mistakes (my back hurts already:)). If I was unable to get a deal, I'd definitely go for the Aeron.

Left a thumbs up but I still don't know which one I want and I have been searching
for weeks. I'm getting ready to just take the first one I see. Your videos are great.
I just want a really padded seat, lift up arms and casters. I read all the reviews and it
just stops me from purchasing one. I have had spinal surgery and the one I purchased
I got took. I just don't want that to happen again. I really am not crazy about mesh chairs.
