I am so grateful I found you on YouTube I had a thyroidectomy and my body gained 20kg within months of the op I usually weigh 50kg and I could not remove the weight I looked 9 months pregnant and was humiliated until I realised that levothyroxine cannot metabolise sugar or carbs and that turned it all around I’m still heavier than I was but at least my stomach is going down and the insulin is not spiking

I understand the concept but, early in a fat-loss journey, if you take away most carbs and keep fat on the lower side, wouldn’t your body just burn your stored fat? I guess you have to find the sweet spot where you eat enough fat with your protein to help with satiety while allowing your body the opportunity to use its own fat stores, and then increase your dietary fat intake as your own fat reserves decrease. 🤷🏻‍♀️
