How to Find Slant Asymptote of a Rational Function

Learn how to find the equation of a slant asymptote when graphing a rational function. We go through 2 examples in this video math tutorial by Mario's Math Tutoring. I will never understand the long division way. Why are you skipping the 3x^2 on the first step. Why did the 4x cancel?

Teacher I think u are wrong this function doesn't have slant asymptote I even checked it on desmos 2:28 because it doesn't have remainder, love from Iraq
