Being Dutch I'm now less worried because of Julien since he's wrong a lot of the times *cough Pogba cough*. Let's hope he's wrong about this as well. Same players? We lost our central defending duo, one of which is our captain. Koeman had the fortune of having both De Ligt and Van Dijk and having Covid-free players. This group has lost it's Sergio Ramos in Van Dijk and we've all seen what a major impact that can have on a team in the long run. Virgil van Dijk to this team is what Ruud Gullit was in the mid to late 1980s for the national squad, essential because Depay and Wijnaldum aren't world-class and try too hard to carry the team. France on the other hand just got beaten by Finland and has a way larger pool of excellent players, like Spain to choose from where The Netherlands draw against Spain and created multiple chances.
Don't worry about us, Julien. If De Boer can win the Dutch league 4 times in a row (almost a fifth time) with Ajax figuratively being on fire because Johan Cruyff and the board were fighting for years and the club having way less money to buy players because the club was in debt, akin to Barcelona right now he will be able to salvage this situation
