Popular teaching says you need to ask God for forgiveness each and every time you commit one. But is this truly Biblical?

Repenting when we know we've sinned keeps in our minds that what we did was wrong and helps keeps us on track because we remind ourselves that we did in fact do a wrong deed. I agree wee are totally forgiven though.

This
is THE TRUTH...that sets you free
..thank you Andrew Farley ...God-bless your ministry ...and your heart of confidence in the Holy Spirit.... For your boldness to speak the truth.... It really is true that we can come BOLDLY to the throne of GRACE (Not judgment) and receive mercy and grace whenever we need it....

Amen! Thank you Jesus for removing my sins forever by washing them away with your blood.

By one offering Christ has removed my sins.
Thank you God for the gift of your son and the work of his cross

I noticed that I am sin last, but still I’m human sometimes I just repent because I feel remorse about being short about the disappointment of the day when I have a bad day so I tell God I’m sorry

Appreciate your vid's Its still a good idea though to say sorry though, some of the most hardest things for a human to say include, I'm sorry, please forgive me and I love you amongst othersthings that are really hard to say to one another God included, im sure He doesnt mind us still saying these things to Him either, by it he knows we love him even more !

I see people in the comments who say “shouldn’t we say sorry anyway” and yes, bingo, you got it! You should say sorry when you mess up.

This is more for the question of, if I mess up, if I forget, if I lead with love like Jesus but trip on one thing and somehow don’t say sorry, am i going to hell forever? That’s what i was taught to believe.

He is telling us, that if you do all things in love to the best of your ability, and say sorry when you know you’ve messed up, you will go to heaven.

I was taught you can still mess up even if you try to do all things good, and if you don’t ask for forgiveness before death, you go to hell, and been if you were a loving Christian your whole life. So something like s-ic-de would lead you straight to hell because you killed someone and immediately died, no room to say sorry after you sinned, even if you were a good person and believed in God. That terrified me my whole life.

Do you need to? Or Do you want to?

"He who claims he has no sin is a liar, and the truth is not in him...." the apostle John.

Jesus says "you are already clean because the word I have spoken, he who is clean needs only to wash his feet."

We’re to ask for forgiveness every day for our relationship with Christ not salvation.❤

WHAT you take one piece of scripture and apply it to the whole thing!

For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. Hebrews 10:14
Notice it says those who HAVE been purified from sin(sanctified) how are you sanctified? By placing your faith in Jesus(being born again) and how are you perfected? Your spirit is perfect because you are born again but if you sin the born again spirit will ask for forgiveness and repent.

" All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him."
1 John 3:3‭, ‬6 NIV

If what you said is true, than NO BELIEVER EVER should be asking for forgiveness after they have been saved. Because ultimately we would be denying the power of God's grace if we confess our sins afterwards right?
Wrong, SO wrong. This is a last days deception.

One who needs to repent regularly is not saved. Otherwise, they would be changed.
Jesus does not forgive our sins daily. None of our sins are forgiven until we receive salvation. At Salvation we are forgiven for all of our past sins at once. Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit, and we are transformed to righteousness. After that we can stop sinning.
Scripture says:
1 John 1:9-10
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
When Jesus purifies us from ALL unrighteousness it is Not temporary. It is permanent.
The Apostle John confirms this:
1 John 3:6
"No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him."

Don't fall for false preacher.Always Ask for forgiveness because if you think your a real "christian" and don't need to ask forgiveness, you are doing the unforgivable sin which is blasphemy against the holy spirit

Don’t you have to ask for him to actually forgive you though?

That doesn't mean we don't ever repent for sin we are convicted of. Jesus gave us the model prayer which includes asking for forgiveness. Andrew teaches we do not need to repent anymore. He's right about a lot, but wrong there. Its not biblical.
