My main language was Python for a very long time and I used Flask to build websites. But, once I decided that I wanted reactivity on my page, I decided diving headfirst into Vuejs. I had no problem assimilating myself with JavaScript code. I never really needed to know everything in Javascript to code in Vuejs, but when I needed anything, I would just look it up.

Without seeing the whole video and just based up on the title, I have to say: "Software programming and even less, software engineering are not competition for the fastest".

Yes, is a discipline but on my opinion has more of intuition, craftsmanship and art.

Despite of the fact there are better tools, the first one to reach the goal could win the prize (and the money) but often at the expense of superficial knowledge, unmaintainable code and process,

I insist on the fact this is not a race. Good code and process takes time and for sure this is a paradox on the software industry you have to live with.

As an experienced Software Developer. I find competitive programming to be very tiring since I’m not able to commit to the rigorous practice routine that CP requires. I work for my company, then I spend some time in open source contributions.

What I would love to have is a DS + Algorithms website /resource that helps software developers like me who can contribute l, let’s say 1 hour daily.

I totally agree. I never learned javascript before I just jumped into react and I'm doing fine. As long as you have some experience in programming and know how programming languages work(if conditions, for loops, etc.), there's really no need to spend a ton of time learning a language before learning a framework.

Get yourself some kettlebells. I've also been missing the gym but I decided to cancel my membership because gyms are pretty gross in general. I've also been running a lot but I needed the weight training. Kettlebells are very versatile and they are finally back in stock in some places.
