There is a 'small plastic part' which goes under the 'steering-wheel column', and as a part of the dashboard, we have had to cover it in leather, too.
This piece is not flat...it has a little rounded shape. The technique to do the leather-wrapping/stretching is similar to the one I have used in former videos.

Cech..how you can continue to do highly detailed work and not get any wrinkles, or smear, or smudge, or get any cement on the leather is really a beautiful thing to watch. What do I look for when buying leather for a project such as this? I particularly like the full leather option interiors offered in Porsche cars. They have a nice grain-free matte finish. Where can I buy this kind of leather?
