How to Vinyl Wrap Interior Trim | Step by Step | EASY

How to vinyl wrap dash trim of a car or truck. In this vid we are wrapping a 2015 mustang interior dash piece that has a lot of different areas and contours that can be difficult when wrapping.

4:43 Once vinyl has formed around peice trim excess leaving about 1-2in
4:59 Cutting the holes for the cooling and heating
6:31 wrap excess around back side This also provides extra hold for vinyl
8:06 Continue Process until all flaps are secured on back side of piece

Wrapping around holes/bolts/screws/whatever etc is the hardest part for me!

I just watched a guy try to hand stretch his wrap and it looked so complicated. You let the tool do the work on this one and made it look a LOT more doable and may try this with my next vehicle

Finally, a video wrapping a difficult piece. Trying to wrap the center console piece that holds the cupholder on my 2012 Mustang, the inner curve by the E-Brake is pretty intimidating so I gotta watch this lol.

My only issue when applying vinyl wrap is when i have to do corners. I often have to cut the vinyl in the corners to split it, just so i can lay it over the corners, and that usually leaves me with a gap between the vinyl or an overlap. :/
