Anterior placenta means when the placenta is attached to the front wall of the uterus. Anterior placenta kicks are usually felt less than with the posterior placenta. There is no increased risk with an anterior placenta. #placentapositionduringpregnancy #placentaposition

We were told today i have Anterior placenta, which i literally had no clue what it meant in practice lol so this video is coming at a great time. Im also 19 weeks havent felt baby move at all but it's probably the placenta + it's first baby 😅
Wishing all the moms to be a safe delivery and healthy strong babies ❤

I had an anterior placenta with my last pregnancy and still felt her move early… around 15/16 weeks. Apparently it doesn’t matter the position of the placenta if you’re growing an MMA fighter 🤣 She’s 20 months now and still extremely active and has the strongest legs I’ve ever encountered on a toddler.

I have an posterior placenta and felt my baby girl's flutters at week 16 and her kicks/rolls beginning at 22 weeks. This is our first child so that was surprising. Now at 38 weeks and I'm telling you, I can just about grab her little feet when she kicks. The OB thought she was going to stay breeched but I literally watched her head and butt swirl around as she was moving head down. Sure enough, a few days ago the ultrasound confirmed she's now head down!

I'm anterior and this is so true for me. Even during ultrasound s I'll see movement but i won't feel it. Then, some days I'll feel the baby moving like crazy. Like today. It made me nervous. Like are u ok. Usually its subtle and quick few movements then random movements. I finally recorded it. I'm 37 weeks and 2 days I'm a ftm

Officially 34 weeks (5/24/2025) and I have a posterior placenta. I've been feeling babygirl since 13 weeks. She's very strong lol. I have cried from some movements but I always tell her I'm proud of her growth and strength. My uterus is ready for July though. It's already sore😂 she's powerful but only 4.5lbs. small but mighty 😊

It took until week 28 for me to feel anything with my anterior placenta. It was such a relief once I did!

I didn’t know I had an anterior placenta until 29 weeks after visiting L&D multiple times because I wasn’t feeling him move that much. Always make sure to ask about your placenta especially if you’re having trouble making kick counts! I’m 34 weeks and I would be a lot more stressed now if I never asked.

I have anterior placenta, my latest ultrasound revealed it and the dr explains the positioning of my baby as well, I felt my baby move around 20 weeks, and now im 24weeks but the movement is not that strong.
