If you read blood meridian. In my perspective, he represents death itself, i mean he literally threw a rock straight ahead to someone skull, just like how death always come for you, no matter what you do, judge basically crush a guy skull with his bear hand, just like how death is basically invincible and will end you cannot escape from it matter what, and he basically a mass child murderer, it also mirror how death doesn’t spare anyone, no matter what age, old or young. And at this point he completely nihilistic from my point of view, so is death. It just my own interpretation of judge holden. He symbolizes both death and the devil himself
