Almost any head made in the last 10 years PLUS THE RIGHT SHAFT. is the real truth. The shaft is the most important detail in a driver

The new Wilson woods look great and the price will be the killer punch. Can’t wait to try them. The most underrated brand in golf.

I outed my 3-wood early this fall and replaced with TM mini. My son and his buddies have all adopted it into their bags and after hitting his on the driving range on a couple occasions, i saw the potential benefits for me. I bought one. It has proved to perform better/easier for me off the tee box when driver isn't right. I have more consistent distance and am finding the FW more often. I was also a 3w from the fairway guy. I replaced that duty (and an empty spot in my bag) with an Ai Smoke 5w. The higher flight and slightly shorter distance are keeping me out of trouble i was getting into with the lower flight, longer rollout of the 3w. My son simply said, "i told you so". I find myself using my regular driver less and less.

Just ordered 2023 model Mizuno driver $150. Golf still accessible for the masses. Thanks Mizuno! Don't forget the Costcos also.

This is why I'm gung-ho on DTC irons but not metal woods, as Tony said, they just don't have the R&D to spend on metal woods as the big boys. So, that's why I'm not convnced that the DTC metal woods are as good as the big boys. Kudos to Titleist for going their on way and sweating the details. Well written Titleist article, Tony. Cheers.

You guys should do a video on the best of the old drivers vs new drivers and see how they stack up. Not old old, but I'm thinking Taylor Made R540 era ish. Maybe an original Big Bertha thrown in there for fun or something like that.

Great show guys... I watch every week but I have to say today you, especially Tony are hitting on all cylinders... And I have to agree with your trepidation concerning carbon fiber faces... I personally wouldn't own one...

Why don’t the smaller companies just make a driver that’s “not conforming “ for weekend golfers ? If it hits the ball further who cares if it’s conforming…. Just make a driver that’s long

Really you must get fitted but you dont need to spend 500 to 1000 on a driver especially if you are only hitting your drives 200 yards give or take 15 yards. .I went out and bought a set of PXG 0211 irons and also got their 0811 Proto Driver which was an older model, and it performs just as good as my expensive Taylormade driver. I am 75 and hit my drives 200, ,

For me the qi10 core was the best driver of 2024 for me, plus I love the look of the gloss black carbon crown which is a shame to be gone this year

QI 35 here's the lowdown 3=form function fit 5=5 head styles.

how many have experienced Carbon faces popping out, warranty issues here with TM ?

My question is we have had two tour FW iterations with a back and forth sliding track. Why can't we get that in the TM LS driver? I feel like it would sell like hot cakes to get something like that!

Titleist has come so far in terms of forgiveness. 983K had a sweet spot the size of a pin head, so even as a sub 5 handicapper, I avoided their drivers for almost 20 years. TSR3 is long and forgiving, but definitely favors the better player.

Have we not reached the limits on what a driver can do ? At this point it’s like putting lipstick on a pig, all of the “big brands” are surviving through marketing and not substance.

That’s definitely a weight in the back, just like last years QI10 LS

Titleist has kind of a unique situation having the top golf ball. They can afford to let things breath awhile. Not that the other major brands are broke, but how they release clubs, it appears it's quantity over quality to stay in the black 🤷‍♂️

I found a Pind G 30 Bubba driver on Rock Bottom golf for $150 and I love it more than my G-430. I’m done with this fools errand of finding a new driver every year.
