Lack of proper communication (or at all) is a massive problem.

YES, thank you! Bosses did that to me. Told me "No, I never said that, I never committed to that, no I never said I would take responsibility for that". I am happy that I left and got a better paying job!

Well, I did look in every dimension known and unknown to mankind and I can agree there is conflict in every one of them that contain human beings.

If you look at larger statistics, all forms of conflict are actually decreasing. From international armed conflict, to domestic murders and sexual crimes. I think we are just in an age where the perception of conflict is more pervasive and more people are able to maintain global publicity with relative ease.

I say this conflict is good sign. For example, it was a lot easier back then to lie about wars to the public to unite them in support of them. But after people filmed Vietnam war, after the internet, all of a sudden it's a lot harder to unite the public on this issue

I completely and utterly disagree that the reason for rising conflict in society is due to difference in subjetive reality. I blame bully mentality with the concurrent lack of negative consequence and rewarding of misbehaviour. You can't bully a tomato plant into being an apple tree, you can bully and bulldoze people into shutting up. If we have a conflict of which movie is better, there is still a possibility of resolution on what to watch including not watching anything together - there's no resolution in bullying.
Conflicts aren't inherently bad - bullying is. It's not a chess game lagging, it's which one can bully the other to capitulate and say the chess game is poker or backgammon. And that conflict doesn't have a solution.

I have never seen such great commenter in any reel/short 🐧❤️ glad to see there are people who understand the concept of reality and people's perception.

Hilarious to get this video after my girlfriend and I broke up last night over her lack of communication skills. I mean it was also about her cheating on me a month after we moved in together after knowing each other for 7 years, but that was a year ago and I tried working with her about that. She’d tell me things like I did nothing around the house after I had just spent 3 hours doing multiple loads of laundry, the dishes, and deep cleaning the bathroom all because I asked her to sweep up her dogs hair that was getting all over my work clothes and I was choking on because it was in our bed. Idk I thought that was a reasonable request but I guess not. We ended up breaking up because she agreed to meet me after I got off work so we could go get some food but she decided to go out drinking with her friend and then show up to our apartment wasted several hours after I decided to stop waiting and head home without communicating anything to me, which is exactly what she did (with the same friend) when she cheated on me a year ago when she would go to a coworkers house and expect me to take care of her dog and all the chores around the house while she was literally out with another man and would lie to me about what she was doing. Idk why it took me so long to break things off, but I really did want to make it work. I’m realizing now that I was just being a simp which I would have made fun of someone for just a couple years ago. Time for me to go back to therapy.

This why religion has ALWAYS failed to resolve conflict on a global scale.

Edit: Key word global. Not communal.

I think people are desperate to pick a side now. People fight not because they disagree with each other, but because they belong to the other side of whatever arbitrary topic that gets brought up.

Yeah, this is just what happened on a grand scale as we transitioned from pre modernity all the way through to post modernity

yep, when one or both parties uses gaslighting or lies constantly, you know whos the problem.. similar to something right now

Yep, me and my family. I still suffer due to no possibility of resolution ever. I suffered through things they never will admit we're real.

Reality is perception of those who have already lived, it carries down the timeline, that's why you also need to understand where each individual comes from. And why they do the things they do, or think, emotional processing, there's a lot of aspects. We are all one, just raised and taught differently

The amount of times i have asked women to look at anything they might do that can negatively impact men in their lives, they treat me as if i hate women and dont even understand the rational fears that they have.

Trust me, i get it, but im not talking about womens experiences, im trying to help women understand men. And it rarely ever works, but when it does, you see a lot of positice changes in these women and the men in their lives.

When both sexes can come together and admit that both sexes affect the other in negative ways and we both need to work on it is when we can finally stop having this feminism vs "men" debate that so many people think is not that big of a deal.

This is why a hot topic like abortion will never be fully resolved. Everything is an argument, and you have to begin an argument after the former step of stasis theory is established. With abortion specifically, we’re stuck on the “definition” of a fetus while arguing about the “policy” of abortion.

The internet and virtual social apps make it way easier to find your people but also easier to find people who disagree with you on a lot of things.
With the anonymous way it is, its makes people even more savage on how they treat differences with others and also how they'll be way more unreserved about prejudiced opinions of others(like with racism) .

You kinda question yourself, without counting the internet&social media part of anonymity, were people before always this extreme, polarized and reactionary?? Or has it gotten worse??
