Highway hammering the GSX S1000 GX. Comfortable enough to be a Tourer?

Sold my great FJR and pick up my GX next week. Only doing shorter rides now and wanted a lighter bike. I've had 4 FJRs but I'm 69 soon and have to go lighter I think. I had IMU on SX 1000 Ninja and I think it's good. Looking for GX suspension to be as good as claimed.

Adjustable Rear sets could help add 1" for your feet. This is a fantastic value even vs multistrada or bmw s1000xr. Seats also can be upgraded.
