In this video the 2020 Yamaha MT03 FINALLY gets it's First Ride video. After spending the amount of time on it I have, I'm honestly surprised as the niche it's starting to seem like it's good for.

Big thanks Manscaped for sponsoring this video. Having those camera car shots ain't cheap!

Doesn't matter what bike you're reviewing - when a 911 GT3 drives by, the camera guy is going to look at it.

Been a proud owner of the MT-03 for a couple weeks! As a new rider, it has treated me so well! Very friendly and just looking at it makes me want to ride/practice more. Appreciate the first ride video!!

All the "negatives" actually make this bike great for what it was designed for: beginner or returning riders. Especially shorter riders.

Just picked mine up today.
At 5'11 with a 32 inseam, this bike is perfect. Knees fall under the tank as they should. Very comfortable bike.

Have had mine for over a month now and I love it! Just cruised down to San Diego today and back home. Soo good. I’m 5 11 and have zero issues with the size.

Lol I love the fact that the camera car followed the 911 pass on the highway even if it was completely unrelated

Got this for my first bike experience a couple months ago and no regrets. VERY fun and VERY good for beginners. Lots of fundamentals to learn and build upon. I’m 5’8 and 32 inseam and my ankle/calf is feeling a bit cramped. No windshield so expect lots of buffeting at higher speeds. Engine revs high almost always, so long freeway rides get buzzy and feel “labored” on the engine. 80 MPH = 8500-8600 RPM.

Light weight. Forgiving throttle. Good torque/power response. About 54 MPG. Not meant for full tuck, more 3/4 and upright sit stance. Priced VERY competitively at less than $5k, and you get a lot for what you pay for.

More of a short sprinter as opposed to cruising and long touring. Expect to shift A LOT as the gearing is super short 5th and 6th are pretty much overdrive.

Nimble, fun, economical, and

I love my MT03 if I am being honest. I love how you sit and love being able to cut through traffic. Adding a windscreen is a must. R6 throttle tube is a must. exhaust is a must. stealth mirrors are great.

I watched the entire video had to sub'd... I was going to buy the Mt07 but this review has convinced me the MT03 is capable enough for my needs plus saves me bit of money fuel, insurance and running costs. What a complete review, thanks man!

A 3 minute ad for Manscaped, if that's what it takes to get this awesome content for free, it's worth it lol I really love this bike and think it's going to be my pick for my very first motorcycle. As always, fantastic video!

Just got this exact bike for my first bike. First thing that stuck out was the color. This is one of the most aesthetic bikes IMO. This thing is just right up my alley

It so wild that I recognize the roads and the areas you are driving on in Georgia. I was like "That Main Street and you are going to Avalon on 120 Old Millton!"

I’m loving my 2020 R3. Awesome little commuter, plenty of power, comfortable on the highways, and up and down the mountains. Going to get my dream bike in a couple seasons the “BMW S1000RR”. Keeping the Yamaha R3 for a practical daily use bike, and for fun track days.

I love that there are soo many small displacement choices for new riders. When I first started riding 20 years ago a ninja 250 was about it. Fortunately while I was schooling in the Philippines back in the day had a fzr250cc in-line 4, what a screamer. Now though my current flavor is my fz09. Love the triple.

Just purchased my MT-03 yesterday. It's my 1st motorcycle. Thanks for the review, Chase.
I gotta say, this bike seems super powerful to me as a beginner, hahaha. Torque is very sufficient for me (that's a given, i wouldn't know any better). Got it new, at a good price too, $3955, plus all the other fee's totaling $5680. I've learned a lot about buying a motorcycle. One day i hope we can bypass all the added fees (maybe a manufacturer to buyer option).
Anyway, i'm looking forward to all the adventures i'll take once i'm an experienced rider.

That is one good looking bike. I can't believe the amount of selection newbies have these days compared to 15 years ago. Even as just a standard motorcycle that looks like a great bike.

Been a rider for 10 years. Picked up the mt03 a few months ago. Ton of fun and not too fast.
