Impressive, but I think neuroscience has still a long way to go. Consider this: in this video they showed that neuroscience is trying to get more and more access to the neurons of mice (and maybe one day human). But it would be foolish to think that, even if they could observe or even manipulate (which would be unethical) every neuron in the human brain like they want, this would leed automatically to the understand of higher cognitve functions.

Why do i think that? Because of artifical neural networks. Those networks are getting more and more impressive (and in the same way, more complex). And we got to the point where the creators of those networks often doesnt even understand themselves how such neural networks come to certain conclusions (they dont understand the inner workings of their own creation). And keep in mind, that with artifical neural networks you have complete control over the network, YOU CAN observe and manipulate every neuron there, and yet still some networks are hard to understand.

Furthermore those artifical neural networks are complex, but nothing in comparsion to the human brain.

I want to know what parts of the brain are strongest when a person is sequential. People who can do very tedious tasks without making mistakes - what is their advantage?
