Why did Ms Alexander say that the shooter was mentally unbalanced? It seems he knew exactly what he wanted to do and he acheived it. I'm not saying I agree with his actions but he sure didn't show any signs of dementia.

As a Canadian I always get a kick out of hearing Brit journalists talk about gun crime. For Pete's sake, you lot aren't allowed to own a large Chef's knife. LOL. It wasn't a 'silencer' it was a home made 'suppressor.' When a suppressor is attached to a pistol without a device that spring loads the barrel, the pistol will not cycle when fired. It did not jam. He fired a shot, racked the slide to engage another round, etc. and the last shot he actually tapped the back of the slide with his left hand to ensure it was in battery. He deliberately ejected three live rounds with the words deny, delay and depose on them.
