The prime suspect in the assassination of a healthcare CEO in New York was “sitting there just reading” in a McDonald’s when he was detained, police said.

A fast food worker recognised the man, named as Luigi Mangione, 26, in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

He had with him a gun, silencer, numerous fake IDs and a three-page handwritten manifesto which showed his clear “ill will towards corporate America”, NYPD police chief Joseph Kenny told a press conference.

It is understood the suspect worked alone, and that he had never been arrested anywhere in America prior to Monday.

4:37 All those resources for a CEO. Of course this wouldn’t happen for a poor person.

He's likely not apprehended. It's hard to imagine the guy would wear clothes identifying him to the crime for nearly a full week. Didn't "lose" any of it? Nah, they're trying to maintain they're appearance of authority.

She gives so much credit to the law enforcement officers. However it was an employee at McDonald's who was instrumental in Luigi's apprehension.
When will his Hallmark Holiday movie be coming out? Will Timothee Chalamet be playing him? (American awaits the next chapter in this saga)

What kind of lowlife would snitch on a man of the people for a measly $10, 000. Free Luigi!!

Think about it. The killer handed himself over. He had all the evidence on him. He chose to sit and wait for the most desperate of us to find our opportunity. He changed someone’s life.
