I wonder how eagerly hachiko was waiting for his owner. Means his eyes were only finding his owner for 9 years straight. Sometimes I sink in thoughts that how hachiko was feeling every single day for 9 years. He must have a thought that out of nowhere his owner will come nd hachiko would jump and can't stop wagging his tail.
M felling very sad for hachiko that he can't even understand that his owner was no more. Nd at the same time I imagine the very first moment when they both met in heaven.

I actually have a Shiba Inu with his name. At the time of adoption he was already named Hachi. Added the kō. Felt weird with his name being 8. Now it’s the 8th lord or duke. Prefer duke. History would of been different if the Akita and Shiba Inu went extinct. Hachikō the Akita did save the breed.

Edit: A student of the late professor stumbled across the dog. He looked into how many Akita’s were left. There was 20, including Hachikō. I waited to finish the short to include that. The student was the one to spread the story.

Im very sorry that he wasted his life for 9 years without knowing he lost his one and only owner.. It just breaks my heart that he wasted his life but im happy he remains in doggie heaven where they play where they dont have any problems.. luv u hachiko from earth im glad u are in ur own world of dogs now..
