Ancient solar observatories are ubiquitous the world over, but why? I'll tell you why, and I'll tell you why this site shifts the paradigm. It's about the dirt, and the weather, not the flood.

At some point over the course of our 2.5 million years of evolution someone noticed that the alignment of the stars oddly seemed to correspond with the temperature, the weather, what animals were around and when, what berries and other wood edibles to plant, harvest, and consume.

For ancient people's it worked, but it made far, far less sense. They didn't even know what a star was. They're are just the weirdo points of moving lights that tell us what to do to survive.

The first person to make the connection between time keeping and survival must have looked like a insane genius to their peers, but it caught on. It brought the village food, and lots of it. Knowing the stars kept them warm and safe. It saved the from death.

And so becomes religious ceremonies, and a central sort of 'giant magical codex compass that translates what the stars are saying into a recipe for survival for you thanks to the Sun God for which all lives sustains upon", for everyone to gather around, and study.

Then came the great flood, and washed it all away, but here's the interesting Are you ready?

It wasn't until the Sumerians developed agriculture that we began to study the stars, make swiss watches, develope nuclear weapons, and GPS power but cesium atoms keeping time... right???

Well... apparently we developed agriculture and time keeping BEFORE it was wiped away by the flood, and later redeveloped.

That's leads to questions.

Were their survivors after the flood that had enough global influence to reintroduce technology, or was it just rediscovered? What are the odds?

If a flood can wipe out the vast majority of relatively recent historical records, and a global ice age can wipe out several kilometers of the earths crust, and millions of years of history, then how can we know whether or not the PREflood peoples were just survivors of a flood or other cataclysmic event that occured earlier to that?

Someone mentioned that according to Buddhism, there had been a few eras of different civilizations (human?) that came and went in the history of planet earth.
Those remnants of unexplained humongous structures were probably left behind by one of those civilizations that were not necessarily human, hundreds of thousands or even millions years ago!

The spiral design reminds me of one in a temple in Malta that is dated around the same times

There's a passage tomb in coastal France with mathematical carvings all over it. Nobody knows how old it really is, but it's old.
