Let's not forget that the Lions defense also failed to stop the 49ers drive a single time in the second half.
Hard to win when the other team is scoring points at will.
Campbell's calls just kind of over-shadowed everything else in peoples minds.

I am a lions fan and it’s just….nothing but pain here in Detroit. Work today was basically like going to a funeral home. Nobody talked to each other unless it was about the game, and my work place is typically very busy and lively. There was a moment I looked around and saw about a dozen people sitting in silence with something that resembled a 1000 yard stare. This was all day. It was so depressing. We wanted this so badly and we really believed in this group. If you would have told me before the season we would make it to the NFC championship game I would have been absolutely beside myself with joy, but the method of the loss is too damn hard to swallow. In a few weeks I’ll look back on this season with more love. I still have a lot of faith in this leadership and in a few weeks I will start gearing up for next year but just…not right now.
