My Mom made spreads too. She made turkey and ham spreads mostly. Never wasted even a tiny bit of the leftover meat lol. She used an old fashioned meat grinder that attached to the table. My favorite was the ham spread.

My mom made something like this but used leftover beef roast that she put through a grinder. So good! Going to try this with some leftover chicken we have on hand!

I've made a similar spread with other meats before and it is delicious! Chopped hard boiled eggs are also good in some of those spreads. What would be nice id if you included a link to your salsa! Now I have to look fir it and am not easily seeing it. I'll look further, though, as I'd like to see it!

We make "roast beast stuff" with onion rather than celery. I NEVER thought of doing it with turkey. Thanks
