I can only agree wholeheartedly with “Fs” comments. These videos are the best train stories that Ive seen. Not just moronic, endless runbys of the same train, a real story told by railway men, not gunzels standing trackside with a camera. Having lived in Kensington, I recognised the Allied mills siding that I used to see for real.
Great work, I’ll be watching more of these.

Great video. I grew up wanting to be a train driver but have been in the military for nearly 38 years. I still want to be a train driver...wish there was some way of doing it as a semi-retirement sort of job!

I had to watch this one again. Background music is interesting (some might call it elevator music) and the many different camera views is neat.

Incredible, really. Needs another 000's behind that view number, severely underrated content here. Love it.

I am liking the stuff in the beginning with the art of the mechanical movements of the grain shaft, the track switching and the working days of the train hauling grain.
makes me want to spend a day in the cab with you guys doing this but I am probably a million miles from you from Aussie to the USA.
Those old engines keep on ticking away doing their thing down the rails.

Just watched this video and it was awesome. The music was haunting and added so much to the story. Thankyou for making it available and telling a great story without a word spoken

I think these are the equivalent to the E7's here in the states. Cool to see this power still being used.

50 years of age. As a kid in the 70s I'd look at the Streamliners in the platform in Geelong on the 70s but still my number one Loco.

This was lovely Adam, a lot of time clearly put into this, both on and off duty.

Great video. Very cinematic and atmospheric (I think the music helped too). 👌🤩

S302 looks so good in that livery. It would be cool if it had the "El Zorro" Z but the placement of the SSR logo on the front is well thought out and looks great too. That combination of colours really brings out the timeless shape of the S class locos. Thanks for sharing some rare footage!

Loved the S and B class and how high up you were so that you felt every sway of the loco.
