Exactly what happened to my D 90. Had a shop repair it.

Looks like you swapped in a new motor and gear assembly. Is it possible to replace the gear on my existing motor with a gear they sell on eBay for this purpose? Any timing of the gear to the shaft?

Hello, sorry for the inconvenience. I have a Nikkon d90 that had a similar problem. They repaired the mirror mechanism. Now it works fine when it is in manual and video, but when it is in full automatic the photos come out dark

My camera repair people told me it’s hard to get Nikon parts in US.

My shutter after repair, mirror only gohalfway and stop. Take out battery and put in, only can click shutter one time and error, cannot shutter anymore. Pls help
