As the saying goes, "if it can't run the steel it doesn't deserve the brass"

Imagine buying guns that can't reliably run steel cased ammo.

Glocks run steel and aluminum just fine.

Just got done shitting on Glocks too.

My glock 17 has ate steel all its life, I never let it eat the good brass stuff. I’ved never had failures with steel in my glock 17 either, 15, 000 steel rounds later and still going strong

I've, surprisingly, never had a problem with Blazer Aluminum 9mm. Every round went bang. No malfunctions. Good, accurate shots at 20 yards. It's decent shit.

The Syntec is nice cause it keeps the bore a bit cleaner than normal FMJ, runs a little cleaner

If she can’t handle the steel she don’t deserve the brass

Aluminum, steel, or brass cased FMJ, whichever is cheaper, for the range. Snapcaps for simulated malfunctions at the range and dry fire training at home. Brass cased JHPs for EDC.

The soviets actually made their 7.62 for the AK with steel casing because it was cheap

A lot of people I talk with thinks snap caps are useless, but with a lever action. It helps break in the loading gate without having to load real rounds. Also helps to practice

The powders in the cheap stuff like steel case makes lots of sparks. It's propelent is weird. I shoot cci speer or federal mostly.

there are only three types of ammo... the ones that go boom, the ones that do not, and the ones that blow up your gun.

I’ve never had a problem with steel case rounds, I just feel guilty because I don’t recycle them like I do brass. I also know that the steel will degrade my handgun more quickly than brass, which no gun owner wants for their beloved firearm.
