Roger Taylor - Radio Ga Ga

A tribute to the drummer in the band Queen - Roger Taylor.
Fantastic musician and for sure a funny guy.
It's been fun and hard to pick clips - among thousands - 'cause he is often behind his drums, and I'd like to have something else to.
So here you are.

He has furthermore written the song - Radio Ga Ga.

There haven't been anyone until now - who could remotely do what Queen did at the stage. You did it well!

I apologize for the poor quality of some of the clips. But when you rip from someone who ripped it from someone who ripped it from a VHS - then it's doomed to happen.

I don't own any of these clips - I just composed them together - including the music.
I therefore have no rights over them.

I love Roger Taylor for himself; for how he shows his love for Freddie, for John, for Queen even to this day. So happy he moved that statue from the London located theatre to his property.

I get so misty eyed when I see things like this -oh what fun it must have been to be with these guys, hanging out while they created their music. I know everything wasn't roses and sunshine, but I will bet the majority of time, they were having fun, loving each other, being creative and just enjoying the scene. I hope the three remaining members have wonderful memories of these times, and I pray Freddie is smiling down from heaven. Queen was/is the best.

I think it's safe to say, he was the closest to Freddie. Not saying all three of them didn't love him, but I just have the feeling he was closer to Freddie then Brian and John were. I've seen interviews with him and in some of them, he still tears up when he mentions Freddie. Especially the interview him and Brian did on TV a week after Freddie died....Roger looked as if he was going to burst into tears.

Roger is my first love of the member of Queen...then...I love them all. Each has their own unique cuteness.

This film is my new favourite video. Most meaningful to me, at the beginning, Roger calmly saying he feels very lucky they had those fantastic times. For a moment it totally soothed my grief over losing 'them'. Thanks for the film. (Oh, I loved Freddie placing his crown on Roger's head.)
