Two candidates have been knocked out of contention in the race to replace Boris Johnson as British Prime Minister.

Chancellor Nadhim Zahawi and former health secretary Jeremy Hunt both failed to reach the 30-vote threshold required to progress to the next round of voting.

Voting will continue daily until it is whittled down to two final candidates.

Dr Who is now a black guy and they will soon have an Indian PM. Pretty much sums up the UK these days.

UK, they gave up their country without even putting up a fight. Appalling.

Great news, just need all the rest to be out of the running and we're all good

In Australia a party can change a PM in a party room vote without asking the voters or even the ruling party’s membership.
At least CP members in Uk get to pick out of the last two standing.
You may get your third Conservative female PM, whilst “progressive “ British Labour haven’t had any.

And so we get a leader that we didn't elect. How's democracy going for the rest of world?
Answers on a postcard.

It is obvious it is going to be Rishi v Penny and Penny will win. I am not a Tory or labour supporter.

With Winky Raab and Can't Shapps aka Michael Green on his team, fishy Rishi is unstoppable in his race for second place.

Sometimes when too much of a patient's large intestine is removed in surgery, they are then fitted with a colonoscopy bag to catch the Sky News AU.
