Like the whole success story with conservatism of like Orban and them is social conservatism plus high spending, not social conservatism and also high taxes. High taxes are not populism. Le Pen instantly seizing on the delay on pension increases is a sign she’s not going to like this budget much.

If you asked me, I’d say that Hungary should be booted out of both NATO and the European Union. Orban has made it perfectly clear many times which side he’s on.
If he wants to join Lukashenko of Belarus and Vucic of Serbia in licking Putin’s boots, he can go right ahead.

The French budget crisis is not really about the budget. Almost all budgets in France since 2008 are passed with the famous 49.3 article, aka without the parliament's approvement. What really matters is the possible confidence vote following it.
