Yes... we have one. It's ok. It would be really good for someone that can't use a knife very well...friend of mine loves it because he can't chop very small with just a knife.

While slicing potatoes, instead on pressing down on the green center, you push down on the grey side handles and it will slice all the potato.

The slider thing for vegetables has directional slide rail that keeps it from sliding the plastic base over the knife.
