God wants intimacy with us. That means we have to choose to love Him or not love Him. He won't force us. He didn't force Satan. So by making us to love Him and be loved by Him, and by redeeming us on the cross, all this evil will be inconsequential compared to the goodness of His love. You might think that sounds crazy, but I've experienced it. And the intimacy of His love is just unreal and so bright there can be no darkness. That is why He made us knowing we would sin.
