While we bicker, on this planet, about the smallest of things, this paints the vastness of the universe and how miniscule we really are.

Looks like a microscope view for another level. Very strange. We are very very little.

Some of us are pretty intelligent to be able to see so far back in time. So while we may be no larger than a speck, we are not insignificant. Think what we could do if we really focused on restoring the environment back to health?

It’s so dumb to me that we make and spend this much on a telescope for them to show us a picture of stars 12 billion light years away, but they can’t take pics of centauri that’s literally 4 light years away and has multiple exoplanets. InsteD they take a pic of something 12 billion light years away. Make it make sense bro. 🤦‍♂️

... no amount of telescopes can tell you what you don't

It is mind blowing ancient images ever captured in histody of space. Cluster of hundred of galaxies of early universe.
We are in age of new astronomy. It opened new window to our universe. It is just beginnin.
Thanks JWST and thanks for NASA, ESA and CSA.

Why do the images have to be released by the PoTUS?

It doesn’t tell us anything about our significance other than perhaps expanding our significance in that we can develop the tools to observe and to think about these things.

Wondering, we look soooo over over far away, and flying sooo faar far way... but where is the complete image of the EARTH? DO WE HAVE THE LATEST OF THE WHOLE EARTH?

I only wish I was half as smart as I assume you would have to be to know what the heck we are looking at. They seem really excited about this but it tells me nothing.

These are not the images that were "captured" by any telescope. These "pictures" were processed on a computer in a building by people that lie to you every time they speak.

Thank you. Yes we are but insignificant travelers.

Space may look pretty however, space is also horrifying and unsettling.

Humans..."Know Thyself" : On the same day - the public release of breath-taking images from space coincides with the public release of CCTV footage of a mass infanticide....in America. Just one of many. We are never as advanced as we imagine. We are never as good as we imagine. We are never as intelligent as we imagine. We are never as serious about life as we imagine. We are never as great as we imagine. We are never going to last as long as we imagine.

"Makes us realize how insignificant we are" - That's a horrible way to look at it. We aren't insignificant. In fact, significance, to us at least, only presides over us because we exist. So you might say, if you're being pedantic like me, that nothing is significant without our presence.

I wish they would just show the Images and stop with all the narrations.
