This is PRECISELY why I don't work over anyone's if you want me to do your nails we're removing your old set and starting fresh. That way I can see the state of your nails and decide to best course of action from there. She's very blessed to not have any infection of any sort.

Teaching your clients about the correct process and caring for their nails is great for your business and it increases their experience as well as protecting your business from liability and allegations and protecting the clients from pain and frustration! It’s great that you do this - more businesses should! An ounce of prevention worth a pound of cure!

I see this problem frequently enough in clients when they decide to go get a "quick fill" at the salon. It's a shame that so many places that call themselves salons, don't know the basics 😢

Most reputable nail techs won’t work over another nail techs work either. It’s good she came to you and got sorted!

This has happened to me before after just a few days of getting them done and I paid a lot for them. Thankfully the manager at that salon fixed them for me.
