ABOUT CHICAGO MED
From Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf, ""Chicago Med"" is an emotional thrill ride through the day-to-day chaos of the city's newest state-of-the-art trauma center and into the lives of the courageous doctors, nurses, and staff who hold it all together, including Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss), Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt), Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson), Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee), Dr. Dean Archer (Steven Weber), Maggie Lockwood (Marlyne Barrett), Dr. Crockett Marcel (Dominic Rains), Dr. Stevie Hammer (Kristen Hager) and Dr. Dylan Scott (Guy Lockard).

Together they will confront Chicago's most critical medical cases and challenging ethical dilemmas with courage, compassion and state-of-the-art treatment. Inspired by ripped-from-the-headlines cases, ""Chicago Med"" will weave cutting-edge medicine with the personal drama that comes with working in such a high-intensity environment.

Chicago Med is available now on Peacock, the new streaming service from NBCUniversal. Watch thousands of hours of hit movies and shows, plus daily news, sports, and pop culture updates. Stream now on Peacock.

He got the best ending along with April and Ethan. Rare to see good endings when characters leave in medical shows

It wasn't just Will leaving Med. It was Nick saying goodbye to the crew.

Now Maggie Goodwin and Charles are the only original cast members left but I’m happy for will and nat

This was a good episode, but I wasn't expecting Will to leave. I'm glad he got a chance to actually be with Natalie and Owen. So sweet when Owen was calling out to him at the end. Wish him the best!

A reminder that we all end up exactly where we’re meant to be, eventually. Farewell and good luck, Dr. Halstead 💜 you will be missed.

Man that was bittersweet. Let's not forget that Chicago Med was created from Will's cameos on PD like from Voight's from Chicago Fire. Seeing him leave is like damn he got this thing started and now he's moved on😢

Keep up the good work but everybody’s gonna miss Will. He was a very good doctor

I'm gonna miss Will (and Ethan). He was reckless, but that also made him a real out-of-the-box thinker. Even if he was always risking his job or license, I think any ED should have at least one maverick like Will.

I had to say it somewhere, but this isn't Will Halstead saying goodbye, is Nick. And Oliver Platt giving him that hug represents me all the way. You'll be missed, Dr. Halstead.

Manstead forever!
I wish we could get a spinoff series with Will and Nat, and glad they got back together!

I’m so sad to see him go.😢 He was one of my favourite actors on the show. It sure won’t be the same without him. Wishing you the very best, Nick. I sure wish our healthcare system had more doctors like Dr. Halstead.

I am very glad to see him go like this. At first, I made my peace with him and Natalie being no more after she left at the beginning of season 7, and as I watched the next two seasons, I actually thought that either Stevie Hammer or Hannah Asher would've been better matches for Will. But the truth is I always felt like it should end with Nat and Will since that's how this whole series started in first place, and after hearing a couple mentions of Nat near the end of the season, it does sound clear that Will wanted to be with Nat deep down and Nat wanted the same thing with Will after hearing her say to him "I am never letting you go". I think we can happily say that Will made the right decision in moving to Seattle to be with Nat and that this time the two of them will forever be with each other.

Chicago Med will never be the same without Dr Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss). He was was of the most likeable characters in the entire cast. He was always on the side of the underdog and he was willing to take risks for what he believed in. In fact, we have never known the show without him. I really hope that he will return at some stage, in even only in a cameo role.

Oh I’m sad that he’s leaving but I’m happy that he’s finally with Natalie; just like April and Ethan.

I was so sad.. 😔 Loved Will’s passion for medicine and for doing what’s right !! Even though he had moments that were outside the lines of protocol and they got him in trouble with Goodwin, he was still a great character 😊 I am going to miss his handsome face and that red hair 🥰
