I encountering a Neuvillette bug where he can't generate sourcewater droplets when I use his burst, it also doesn't deal damage. His burst supposed to generate sourcewater droplets even if there are no enemies. And it seems that bug has not been fixed until this time. And they fixed the high speed spin instead of that. And to make it even more insane they simply say “sorry for the inconvenience” without the feeling of shame. They're pretty smart when it comes to priorities.

Weird cuz Arlecchino got nerfed last v4.7 (her energy particles has now reduced)
and now this v4.8 they nerfed Neuvillette as well on his charged attack spin 😕

Edit: don't worry guys the Hydro Dragon is back to normal now... I guess it goes to show that Neuvillette is so OP that he even gave us 1, 700 total primos this v4.8 patch 😅

Let's be real, he wasn't meant to spin around like beyblade.
I will admit though, fixing this so long after his release is... questionable.
Update: since they reversed it, I will say: I have nothing against spinning Neuvillette like a beyblade. The "fix" was reasonable, but not needed.

if you were not using the spin to win tech before, it doesn't really affect you that much so controller or mobile player (who doesn't have a janky set-up, or PC players who doesn't have those high-end gaming mouse) are really not that affected, rip to spin to win speedrunners though

It's not just "spin to win", it is his normal gameplay turning speed that got nerfed. Basically, he is really clunky now, you need mobs standing in line, because the nerf affects small wiggle movement too.

I think they're testing water with Neuvillette for how far they could fix 'bugs' (pun intended), now they could just add 'bugs' on latest characters to boost them temporarily, the spin to win tech is a 'bug' and it's also acknowledged by the players themselves.

It's still very scummy business practice tho to 'fix' it when his hype is at its end after his 2nd banner, Kazuha rerun, Baizhu rerun, Furina rerun, and the end of Fontaine arc, plus to put salt on injury: Hoyoverse introduced new 5★ Hydro Catalyst HP Scaling DPS in Natlan...🗿

I neve consider that as a bug at all, i count it as a mechanic since you can do it on every singgle character in game.
