I think it’s a bad sign for community of Genshin. Today they did it with Neuvillette, tomorrow suddenly they can find bug, that Xiangling ultimate doesn’t have ICD, then that Bennett’s ATK buff shouldn’t be 119%, but just 19% right before Pyro archont banner.

There might be players who spent money to get Neuvillette specifically of this spin "mechanics".
It should've been illegal to modify a released gacha character this way, plus they conveniently call it an issue out of nowhere. This is also one patch before the 5.0 Hydro dps who's supposed to be competitive against Neuvillette, very interesting.
I wonder if this is viable for lawsuit.

I was not even using the spinning with high dpi mouse trick. His speed was just alright for chasing fast mobs. Now he is just a "hydro Sethos", he only can hit those in small cone area in front of him while charged attack is active.

People who are laughing it off do not see the bigger picture. The company is scamming, if this is normalised won't they do it every time? Make a character broken, make people grind/pay to pull and then nerf the character and try to make other character look better.

mobile players even losing more with this "fix". bruh his nerfed rotation in pc can barely make him turn his beam, in mobile you're just stuck in one direction, oh enemies just dash on your side or back, welp goodbye dps. It sucks that they just tuned down hard his rotation speed and didn't care about the other devices. heck I can barely make the spin to win on mobile pre nerf. Mihoyo ought to balance this not just nerf it outright just because a new hydro dps will release.
