Balanced Analog PID Controller Returns to Set Point (Error=0)

This is an analog PID controller that I made on a breadboard. The metal rod is an indicator of location and is simply used for testing stability of the controller. When the rod is held at a desired location and the PID controller is tuned to set the steady state error to zero, this becomes the set point of the rod. Now by turning off the controller, displacing the rod, and turning the controller back on, we see that the controller returns the rod to the desired location (and we were quite excited).

Circuit Diagram:

In this diagram I believe the capacitor is the wrong value. I think I used a 10uF. The pots are used to tune the gain of the P, I, and D components respectively. This is done manually, which can be challenging. The Op-Amps are UA741CN and the last one is a power amp (to drive the plant).

Good work. I've been looking for a functioning analog PID design - something I can assemble and immediately put to work. But may papers only have theoretical info and PIDC120 makers seem to have fallen in a black hole. Is the circuit something you can share?
