Enter the Gungeon is pure digital bliss. I bought it earlier this year when it was on sale on Steam and it has become one of my all time favorites. I can't recommend it enough!

Good list, lotta obvious choices though. Like sure, there's a good reason Binding of Isaac and Dead Cells are on everyone's top lists, but they're still on everyone's lists. (Not to mention the Switch is actually not the best way to play games like Isaac or Slay the Spire, since you lose access to their huge modding communities.)
So without a very good transition, here are some more rogue types on the Switch worth checking out.
*Overland* - Just came out the other day. Post apocalyptic tactical survival driving a car from zone to zone trying to make it to the end.
*Death Road to Canada* - Kinda like Overland, but less tactical and more wacky Oregon Trail zombie parody madness. It's silly fun.
*Heart&Slash* - Puts the Gungeon/Isaac spin on DMC-style character action, and while it doesn't quite hit the mark, it's still a good time. Granted, I played the PC version, so I dunno how it runs on Switch.
*A Robot Named Fight* - Literally just a randomly generated Super Metroid.
*Dig Dog* - One of the most bite-sized games on this list. You're a dog, you dig, you avoid monsters and traps getting in between you and your buried bones.
*Plunge* - Short but skillful dungeon crawling where you don't take steps, you slide from one end to the other.
*Steredenn Binary Stars* - A good looking pixel art bullet hell space shmup with a bunch of weapons and ships to collect. Not perfectly balanced, but very good at holding your time and interest.
*Dandy Dungeon: Legend of Brave Yamada* - Very silly and very meta. Not really as much of a rogue as the others, as you keep your progress between dungeons. Happens to be a Switch exclusive.
*Downwell* - If you know the game, I shouldn't need to explain myself here. It's fast, it's stylish, you can play it in vertical mode.
*Toejam & Earl: Back In The Groove* - Again, if you remember the Genesis original, there's not much I need to say here. It's more of the same wacky planet-exploring co-op goodness.

And as an honorable mention, something that's not even indie: *Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY*
You gotta include it, Mystery Dungeon is like the original roguelike.

Risk of rain 2 and dead cells are the only games I own on switch and I’ve sunk about 200 hours into each. Amazing games

Wow I have played every single one except eagle island. I guess I can't be surprised as I love this genre!

Risk of Rain 2 has to be my favorite. Love the art style and sound, and the core gameplay is so addicting. Binding of Isaac is a close second. It has insane replayability but the Satanic themes and gross art kind of make me uncomfortable. Gungeon was fun for a while but I grew tired of the core gameplay of it and the ammo aspect just made me never want to use my good guns. Wizards of Legend and Flinthook are also some fun ones not mentioned in the video. I love rougelites and buy just about every one that I can.

It's a tough call between Dead Cells and Rogue Legacy as the best Rogue game imo. Might have to give the edge to Dead Cells. Rogue Legacy 2 looks incredible. I also like the look of Foregone. It's very Dead Cells like. Gonner has a nice unique look to it, but it's very hard.
I recently got hooked to playing Lost Castle. It's like Castle Crashers, and has a lot of replay ability.

I was told Tangledeep is only true roguelike (turn based) on switch.

Wondering if Swords of Ditto is good or worth an honorable mention

Not very roguelike like games, but hey, that’s just my opinion
