Being a pensioner and being on the planet a good few years now, I have endured the crap all politicians of all persuasions spout about how they will change and modernise the NHS and absolutely nothing changes except waiting lists getting longer, services detiorate and peoples suffering gets worse.
I have to say though, this government's tenure has created the worst decline of the NHS since it's inception.
Jeremy Hunt would like nothing more than to see the NHS destroyed, he even wrote a book about it.
We desperately need someone to stand up and fight for our NHS and our values like never before.
Trouble is in reality there is no one. Just a bunch of MP's looking after number one.

Wes Streeting needs to be removed as Health Secretary...he is clueless about the Health & Social Care sectors. Streeting's rhetoric will be damaging to Labour's chances of winning the election.

"change and modernise" all he means is a revamp of PFI contracts, introduced under Blair, and the main reason Schools and Hospitals are falling down around students and patients, the hospital PFI contracts currently remove around 30 billion pounds from the NHS before they even treat a patient, and under Osborne this policy was increased during the Tories, its privatisation by the back door.... WS is the only politician of any persuasion that seems to want to make the right challenges to the nhs to make it look after tax payers rather than tax payers look after nhs inefficiencies. Wether he can make the changes if Labour win the next election remains to be seen . However good for him.
