OK, I understand. The other problem is that not all video editor softwares can import animated Gifs. If you install the Lagarith video codec then the resulting AVI file will use much less space on your HDD - this is mentioned in the Help file.

If you want to edit the animation as a video then it's much better to save in AVI format because GIF only supports 256 colours. I'm not sure what you mean by the AVI video doesn't come out as it should.
