In this video I breakdown the real reason why your body is stiff! Many people today suffer from chronic pain and stiffness. Whether that be our back, hips, groin and more. And that can be many times attributed to playing intensive sports and having suffered from injuries. But what you will commonly hear most is “well the older you get the harder and stiffer movement becomes.”

I’m here to tell you THAT IS NOT EXACTLY TRUE! The older you get doesn’t exactly indicate that you will inevitably become stiffer and restricted in movement. As you still see guys well off in their 30’s 40’s and higher still perform at high levels. Society will have you thinking these ages are considered old and at times decrepit. That can be mentally debilitating for many as you unfortunately accept this as a means to an end.

That’s simply not true! Now Don’t get me wrong as we age, our joints are susceptible to the inevitable aging process. Such as joints losing some lubrication, cartilage degeneration and bone density changes. But practically just aging is not directly the case The big problem is due to lack of movement as we do grow older. The solution to all of this is mobility training!

Nice to hear somebody promoting something other than doom and gloom for us middle-aged guys. I'm 41 and skateboard for 60-90 minutes almost daily, and every once in a while I run into somebody my age or younger who says he's "just too old" to skate anymore. Yes, your body takes more TLC as you age, but I learned from an 80-year-old guy who could bench a lot more than I could that decrepitude is optional even when gray hair is mandatory.

I love the information videos you do. I definitely need to stop doing the usual lifting routine and put mobility in the mix. My groin be hurting after stretching cause I be sitting down most of the time at work lol
