How To Apply FX On A MIDI Track In Reaper

Here is how you can apply an effect (FX) to a MIDI track in Reaper. It works the same way you would apply FX to an audio track. In this example, I have a virtual instrument - a snare drum sample - on a MIDI track in Reaper. First you hear what it sounds like with no effect applied. Then I add a Reaper effect - ReaVerb - and play THAT new sound. The track with the reverb effect applied is VERY "reverby." It is very obvious that the effect is being applied to the MIDI track.

Спасибо! Не могу сказать, что у меня не получилось, так как я сразу нашёл Ваше видео и решил свой вопрос 😀

Thanks for dropping this video, I think my mistake is that I did not select sweetverb and I always left it in default "no preset".
I will try again👌

I try to click "add" and there is a very limited number of FX. I don't see ReaEQ like you see. Anybody know why? My midi instrument is ReaSynth. I'm trying to add bass notes to a track. Thanks

Doesn't work for me. I'm recording the midi from Roland digital piano and it has no effect on it.
