Debunking military tactics used on the battlefield of Ukraine. To do so, I will also do a historical comparison by looking into the Korean War and the Iran-Iraq War.

We had a joke in the USSR. In different variations, but something like this:
A NYT journalist brings an article to the editor. "The Soviet gymnast won gold at the World Championships."
Editor: "Are you a fool? - rewrite it normally."
Journalist "The Soviet gymnast won the World Championship.. But at what cost?"

It's always the same:
Accuse the enemy of your fails.
Accuse the enemy of your crimes.
Memoryhole whatever you have lost.
Rinse and repeat it like a religious mantra.
Until it bites you in the ass directly, then flip a 180 and say you were forced to, you had no idea and you're soooo sorry.

I recently witnessed a "human meat-wave" assault. I was at a Krogers Supermarket, when 3, 300 lb. women came waddling down the aisle pushing carts filled with potato chips and pop. The snack department was almost completely devastated. Oh, the horror. I could almost hear their arteries clogging. It was sickening. There was no getting around them. I was forced to retreat to the produce department where I took cover next to the spinach, since I knew they would never attack there.

Normandy D-Day was a human wave attack but noone ever calls it a human wave attack.

Isn’t the term “human wave” an unintended code word for “we are loosing the war”.

When russia takes a town that was fortified for a decade, it's called "insignificant." When ukraine captured a few houses in their offensive, it was a critical success

I guess D-day would be considered a human wave event.

Remember that according to Zelensky Ukraine has 800k soldiers across the frontline, but needs half a million more after they have "only" lost 30k.

I had someone try to tell me that Ukraine's latest "trading land for time" strategy is a winning one....
These people are reaching cult levels of coping.

During the Soviet-Finnish War, all Finnish newspapers were published daily with victorious reports about the extermination of thousands of Russian soldiers, hundreds of their tanks, and dozens of aircraft. About the help of the whole world in the war against the USSR. And then suddenly, one morning, all the newspapers came out with the headline, in huge letters in a black frame, - FINLAND CAPITULATES.

When Rommel used infiltration tactic in Carporeto (Matajur) it is named tactical masterpiece, when Russians or Chinese do the same it is called human wave attack.

There is same myth about Zhukov. Meanwhile his letters and orders are declassified and anyone interested can read how he literally writes: "Due to recent information about some local commanders taking actions risking soldiers I order every commander from the lowest to highest level to prioritize keeping soldiers safe and using more shells"

It’s strange when Europeans say that Russians are losers, because they lost so many soldiers in 2 years, while America lost only 4, 000 people in Iraq in 8 years. They don't take into account the fact that:
1.The Iraqis did not have as much military equipment and weapons.
2. Almost a million military personnel did not fight against the Americans with constant reinforcements and several waves of mobilization.
3.The Iraqis did not have satellite intelligence from other countries.
4.The most developed countries in the world did not help the Iraqis.
5.The Iraqis did not have drones or modern radio equipment.
6.The Iraqis did not speak the language of the Americans and could not pass themselves off as them.
7.The Iraqis did not leave for America and did not destroy military installations within the country.
8.The Iraqis did not have such strong propaganda.
9.The terrain of Iraq is deserted, the terrain of Ukraine is more difficult due to large forests in which it is convenient to hide. Houses in Iraq are basically low, houses in Ukraine are multi-story, making it easy to hide in them.
10. Ukraine has a lot of artillery, Iraq did not have artillery in such quantity and variety.
That's not all, I'm too lazy to go further down the list.
Russia is fighting against Ukraine, which has all this.
It is wrong that Europeans, who fight only with weak countries, tell Russia that it is weak.

There is not an accurate English translation to the Russian word of Maskorovka. It means many things, camouflage, concealment, disseption, planting false intelligence to trick the enemy, etc, etc. But I never thought that it could be so effective to the point where you can make the enemy believe their own lies. It's like the Germans after WW2, we only lost the war on the eastern front because of the bad weather, it was the leaders mistakes, they over ran us with their endless human waves blah blah blah. History repeats itself, no one ever wants to admit to being outfought by Russia and has to come up with an excuse to imply that the enemy was cheating somehow.

The only point of downplaying your enemy is
prepping your own public to become meat waves
