NEWS: Right-wing parties dominate at european elections, large influx of voters and first-time-voters

Resistance is swiftly forming at Place de la République in Paris after the recent election results were announced. Demonstrators are gathering to defend democracy, reacting to the victory of the right-wing nationalist party, "Rassemblement National", led by Marine Le Pen. Her party secured over 30% of the votes in the European election, causing significant unrest.

President Emmanuel Macron, whose pro-European centrist faction received only half as many votes, dissolved the parliament and called for new elections. "It is a difficult decision, but it is an act of trust in our democracy," he stated.
