Why were the Lost Gospels missing from the Bible?

Does the Gospel of Thomas and Gospel of Peter have validity? How did we get the books in our New Testament that have today?

Wes that lecture got me fired up man. Absolutely crushed it. My friends talk about this all the time saying there so many “other books” and that the Catholic Church picked which ones and doctored them even. But I can tell they don’t actually know what they’re saying because it was just something that they saw on YouTube shorts but I never knew how to respond! Thanks man!

I lost my faith around 2006 and ended up embracing Buddhism for over 14 years, until about 18 months ago when I, inexplicably, but powerfully, was internally urged to re-investigate Christianity. Thank God for people like Wes Huff (Although it was Lee Strobel’s book that woke me up) for correcting the many misleading teachings and theories. I have looked back on what the catalyst was that lead to my losing faith and I realized it started with the Davinci Code.

The thing that I love about these videos is. Any skeptic of Christianity, be an atheist, Jehovah Witness, Mormon, Muslim and more. The story is somewhat well known globally by now, and when you look back at the Bible through videos like this, it undeniably suggests that if it were true, the God of the Bible has CLEARLY preserved and assigned Blessings over the 4 Gospels.

The canonical choice makes much more sense, if it were true.
