WORKING SHIPS Minecraft Mod Showcase - Eureka! Ships!

In this video, I’ll be showing you how to make working ships in Minecraft, along with planes, airships, and more with the Eureka! Ships! addon for the Valkyrian Skies mod. This working ships minecraft mod is easily my favorite mod of all time.

Minecraft has always been a perfect fit for ships. Some of my favorite Minecraft memories are exploring the coastlines

I dont care if people will think this is cringe, but seeing this type of mod work with later editions is legitimately gonna make me cry. I have always adored sailing ships and airships and I used to build airships in minecraft all the time and honestly still do. Watching youtubers fly around on their own little aircraft always brought me so much joy and I'd dream of having that kinda fun experience with friends, but was always disappointed when I saw that all the mods only worked on older versions. This showcase genuinely has brought me so much excitement and I cant wait to try it out myself! I finally get to bring the builds my 13 year old self created a decade ago! :D

Funny, the game Vintage Story is likely going to have buildable ships as part of its next major update.
(Extremely good hardcore survival game made by ex-MC modders.)

Finally! An Archimedes' ships successor! Always wondered why ship mods are so underdeveloped

Man..I really love this mod. Combine this with

• Terrallith: make sea deeper, add trench, river goes to the sea, etc

• Continents: make the world generation a bunch of continents and archipelago separate by a big ocean instead of one big continent

• End Remastered + Explorer Compass: Instead of collect 12 same ender eyes to create end portal, you have to find some variety ender eyes spread across different biomes and structures, with help explorer compass. This create purpose to my journey, not just mindlessly wandering off.


Last add bunch dungeons, structures, villages and mobs mods to make the world more dynamic and diverse. now different island will have different adventure. basically, it just becomes One Piece's story line😂

i remember ages ago there was a mod that did something similar but you couldnt walk around on a moving ship. you had to be seated in a special seat and if you werent you phased through it when it started to move, and once you 'parked' it it snapped into place at the closest air blocks and became normal blocks. glad to see someone figured out how to make the ships walkable even when active.
