I've said this a while back but my theory is that Amado created his cyborgs to maybe subdue kaguya and unseal her? one had the ability to charm anyone and you can't fight them? Didnt the little brother seal abilities too? What if Amado just made those prototypes to unravel the cooperation of the inners once the time was right, Amado for sure isn't pro planet destruction for a chakra fruit, I think he preserved his body with ohtsutski DNA given his gray hair but normal skin. He's modified but passively. His survival was based as a non combatant researcher who held the keys to modifying/enhancing inners.

Amado is the Aizen of Boruto. Plain and simple. Code thinking he "tortured" Amado into releasing limiters when it was all part of Amado's master plan. Even Isshiki "appearing" before Code after his demise was part of Amado's master plan. The chips are all falling into place for him as each chapter comes along
