Context:

One person was killed and another 20 injured, after a driver lost control of the vehicle. Tesla has denied any technical problem with the car, which has self-driving features such as automatic steering. Paris prosecutors have opened an investigation into charges of manslaughter and unintentional injury.

Context (I'm French): The 11th december 2021, a taxi driver lost control after his car suddenly accelerated until around 100km/h (~66mph), the driver said he couldn't manage to brake even with both his foot on the brake pedal, he then hit a work van and red light. In total 1 cyclist died because he was smashed by the work van (smashed by the Tesla) and 20 people are injured. The taxi driver sued Tesla France and stopped his career and 37 Teslas of the taxi company he worked in were suspended during a few months before hitting the road back after a training for their drivers. Tesla still deny any fault about the car. The taxi driver is still under investigation for manslaughter and unattempted injuries.
