Great video—made the replacement super easy. If you want to avoid your fingers getting squeezed, just use the suction cups to place the screen down. It does snap together quickly.

I have a mid 2014 iMac 21.5 inch screen; the glass is cracked, rarely the screen doesn’t illuminate completely, but when it does its completely lit up. It’s considered a vintage machine and Apple doesn’t sell parts for it anymore. Any ideas???? Since I would have it already open I am thinking I might upgrade it to SSD and max out the RAM.
