Getting your iMac Pro repaired is even harder than expected...

Apple's new iMac Pro is a $5,000+ machine but many users are reporting that Apple Support isn't servicing them—even under warranty. They repaired ours, but the Genius Bar destroyed it in the process. What a disaster!

You need the durable screws we sell them for $1, 000 a piece

“But whatever” is the only thing keeping apple in business. Lazy practices shouldn’t be tolerated.

Imagine your job title being “head genius”. I wouldn’t be able to take myself seriously.

The mistake was "I purchased the $5, 000 iMac Pro".

Honestly, the fact that apple calls their repair technicians "genius's" continues to be the most hilarious thing to me.

"The Genius was confused" Apple statement of the year.

This is the most anti Karen man I’ve ever met, my mom would yell and go off and this man is so calm, props to him

And in today's lesson. We will be teaching you how to change the mounting bracket on your iMac Pro, using an angle grinder, a crow bar and some 50 grit sand paper.

If anybody has ever said, "Ah, Apple's products are not overpriced, it's all worth it because they do not cut corners!"
They can take it back now.

"It may be a bit overpriced"
"A bit... overpriced"

Just a bit?

Here's what to do, as I figured out in the first 2 minutes of this video:

1) take all of the screws out fully
2) grab one of the surviving screws and head over to the hardware store
3) buy screws that look the same, but are made out of a better material
4) attach the mount with them
5) put your iMac onto the stand
6) turn it on
7) wipe all your data, disconnect accounts, clear cookies, forget WiFi passwords etc.
8) turn it off
9) take off the VESA mount
10) put the iMac and the mount in their original packaging with all original components
11) grab these boxes and a receipt and head over to the store where you bought them
12) return them and get your money back
13) buy one of those Asus or MSI PCs, which are more powerful than any Apple product, for less money, or just build one yourself (though that would be larger)
14) get a good 4K monitor
15) never buy a single Apple product ever again

During Apple Interview
Apple Store Manager: What is that thing over there?
Potential Apple Genius employee: A computer.
Apple Store Manager: You're Hired!

Somehow it always makes me laugh that Apple calls their repair staff "geniuses". Imagine that in any other business. Calling your store clerks olympic athletes for example. :D

"I purchased an Apple" ahhh there is the problem

Calling it a "genius bar" is just begging for sarcasm.
