Great test, unfortunately no Pentax (the K-70 appears to be their most recent entry level model).

After almost buying a Nikon D3500 I ultimately went for an older Pentax model (K-5) and couldn't be happier.
Buying older models (even used from a trusted source) may generally be better in terms of quality-to-price ratio for beginners, at least with DSLRs as their functions haven't improved dramatically over the last decade.

i bought the a6400, knowing a6000 still a best beginner camera. i got a feeling a6400 will be the next legendary "a6000", even if not i think im the problem, the autofocus is just too good for a hobbyist like me
