Thank you for watching the video, friends! I will appreciate it if you share it on your social networks.
There is a mistake in the video in one word - гітара must be with the letter and sound і, not и. My bad.
But I hope you could manage to read a bit in Ukrainian after the lesson!

I watched your channel when I was studying Russian in 2020. I switched to Ukrainian in 2021. It was tough because there were no much channels like this. I'm glad that you decided to teach Ukrainian now. It makes me happy how Ukrainians are speaking Ukrainian again. It makes me feel special because I chose to learn this language. Many people had told me that Ukrainian was useless and I should only learn Russian. 💕😍

Hands down the best introduction to the Ukrainian alphabet I've seen for English speakers. I'm still struggling hard with putting sounds to symbols, but this video makes me feel like I at least have a chance lol. Thank you!

Thank you Nika, this is very helpful. I'm American and teach English online to a Ukrainian student and thought I would like to learn Ukrainian in turn, as I plan to travel there after the war. Because my grandparents spoke Slovak in the home, I develped an ear for Slavic pronounciation and some basic vocabulary as a child many, many years ago. That is coming in handy now, because I can immediately pronounce Ukrainian words I hear. However, the reading is a real challenge because of the Cyrilic alphabet. I'm making good progress for now through listening, but I know that as soon as I'm able to read my learning will accelerate. Your technique for teaching reading is excellent and the organization and pacing is very well-done. Likewise with your examples of pronounciation. (I've been a teacher for over 40 years and know a good teacher when I meet one) Thank you for presenting these lessons. I'm sure I'll watch many of your videos more than once.

Fantastic lesson. I've been learning Ukrainian on Duolingo and this video helps so much in understanding how to pronounce the letters.

So exciting! I only started learning Russian language because of my favorite Ukrainian singers and Ukrainian language resources are hard to find. I'm so glad I can finally honor them by learning Ukrainian!

The quality of this video is extremely good! I'm amazed by this video. You've proved you're totally qualified to teach Ukrainian. This is the best video by far that I've watched about Ukrainian. However, many YT channels that teach the language are left by their owners. I hope you don't leave YT. You've done a espectacular job!

I’ve watched some videos before. You are by far the best teacher and I really like your method, style and your personality. I really want to learn Ukrainian - I speak Russian but now I want to be able to speak with my Ukrainian friends in their own language.
This is very helpful.
Thanks so much.
I will follow your lessons .

I am so happy to discover your excellent lessons! I have been studying Ukrainian for 5 months, using 3 different online programs (DuoLingo, LinQ, Pimsleur) plus independent listening, reading & flashcards, but I never got the information you share in such a clear & helpful way. I look forward to learning much more!

So excited! I've watched so many of your Russian vids, and had already learned the Ukrainian alphabet before seeing this. You are one of the best instructors on here. Happy to see you make this :) Thank you!

Thank you so much, Nika, for introducing your language to me. It was interesting that my Russian teacher many years ago taught me the word Borsch pronounced in the Ukrainian way, and I never knew it until now. You have cleared up a 40-year puzzle for me! Looking forward to more of your videos in the future, and I'm so glad you've found a way to continue teaching us.
